For many of us, growing up watching K-Pop and J-Pop was a big part of our teen years. And it seems like someone else has entered the conversation—and they did not disappoint! P-pop, or Pinoy pop music, is stepping into the spotlight and is serving us with all the looks and the talent!
P-Pop girl group BINI has become the leader of this new wave. Starting from scratch with no guarantee of success—just pure hard work and determination—BINI has worked hard and proven themselves by winning the Best Asia Act Award at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday, November 10.
The award comes just days before their three-day Grand BINIverse concert at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, making it an extra-special week for both the group and Blooms.

In a video shared by MTV Asia Awards, BINI members thanked fans from Asia and around the world for helping make this success possible.
"We're so thankful for winning the Best Asia Act in this year's MTV Europe Music Awards," BINI Jhoanna remarked.
"We hope we can keep sharing our music with you and that the world can discover more of Filipino music," BINI Mikha echoed.

BINI’s Global Breakthrough And Their Awards
Success is never a smooth journey—it’s full of competition, doubt, and moments of fear. But it’s about showing up anyway—whether you’re angry, afraid, doubtful, or feeling weak. Eventually, everything starts to fall into place, just like it did for BINI.
BINI’s journey started with a year of intense training, leading to their debut on June 4, 2021, with the single "Born to Win." The title itself seemed to hint at the success awaiting them. By December 8, 2021, they had already followed up with their second single, "Feel Good," featuring hits like "Lagi" and "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi." Both songs quickly gained popularity on social media, thanks to their catchy rhythms and relatable lyrics.

Their momentum only grew from there. On March 8, 2024, BINI released their first EP, Talaarawan, featuring six vibrant tracks, including fan favorites like "Pantropiko," "Karera," and "Salamin, Salamin." Each song further showcased their growth and dedication, firmly establishing BINI as one of the top acts in the P-pop scene.
BINI’s journey is packed with achievements. They won the TikTok P-Pop Group of the Year at the TikTok Awards Philippines in 2022. In 2024, they made headlines by winning Voices of Asia Award at the Billboard Korea Billboard K Power 100. BINI has also been recognized by the Recording Academy as one of the "12 Rising Girl Groups to Know Now."
BINI became the first from the Philippines to appear on the Spotify Global Top Artists chart, and their song "Pantropiko" made it onto the Spotify Global Viral Chart. In 2024, Teen Vogue named them one of the "12 Girl Groups to Watch," marking their place on the international stage.
