BTS just added another feather in their cap by landing their fourth number one album on the Billboard 200 chart.
On March 1, Billboard.com reported that Map Of The Soul: 7 had "the biggest week of 2020 for any release" with a whopping 422,000 equivalent units in the U.S. as of February 27. 347,000 of these units are album sales.
"Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA)," explained Billboard.com.
The last album to have achieved the same number of units was Harry Styles’ Fine Line, which garnered 478,000 units as of December 28, 2019.
Map Of The Soul: 7 is also the biggest Billboard 200 album in four years by a group based on units, besting One Direction's Made in the A.M. which earned 459,000 units.
"The last group to generate four No. 1s faster than BTS were The Beatles," added Billboard.com. Wow!
