Just in: Former child star Bugoy Cariño just proposed to his longtime girlfriend, volleyball player EJ Laure.
The actor popped the big question during the party for his 21st birthday, as seen in the IG Story of dancer-actor Zeus Collins.
"Gusto ko lang sabihin at ipagsigawan sa lahat ng kaibigan ko na nandito--kaya napakaimportante niyo sa 'kin--na itong babaeng 'to papakasalan ko," Bugoy told his guests.
"Etong babaeng 'to mamahalin ko hanggang dulo," he added.
Getting down on one knee, Bugoy asked for EJ's hand in marriage. "'EJ' Ennajie Cruz Laure, mahal na mahal kita. Will you marry me?"
Bugoy and EJ made headlines back in 2022 when the couple revealed that they have a daughter named Scarlet.

In an interview with broadcaster Karen Davila, Bugoy shared how he and EJ hid EJ's pregnancy. At the time, EJ was 21, while Bugoy was 16.
