- Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello performed "Señorita" at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards tonight.
- They were apparently super nervous about it, but it ended up being hotter than the practically NSFW "Señorita" music video.
Good day, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to today's edition of Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes: summer fling or serious real relationship? After making out practically everywhere over the summer, the two took the stage for the first time together at the VMAs, and it got pretty hot and heavy. I'd say they made it pretty clear where they stand now, if this performance is any indication.
Camila and Shawn took the stage to sing their duet "Señorita," and it gave the music video a run for its money in terms of steaminess. It's kind of hard to believe, but a bunch of Us Weekly sources said Shawn and Camila were hella nervous going into the number. They apparently rehearsed "for hours every day," even though Camila did "most of the moving and dancing" during the set.
"Shawn and Camila are really nervous about nailing their performance and have been rehearsing a lot for the VMAs. Since it's the official debuting of them as a couple and they want it to be amazing and perfect," the source added. "Camila and Shawn decided on this being their debut as a couple; they intentionally haven't talked to media about each other."
Strategically planned? Yes. Cute? Also yes! Many fans ate up the number too, which is a nice bonus.

Shawmila forever!
