Nothing beats an unexpected reunion—especially when it brings old friends together! Today, Heart Evangelista took to Instagram to post a photo of herself posing beside her fellow former child star Camille Prats, whom she accidentally bumped into at a mall.
“Bumped into one of the nicest in showbiz,” she wrote. “She was the first-ever actress who smiled at me when I was starting. Still lovely and kind @camilleprats.”
Reposting on her Instagram page, Camille came up with a sweet caption of her own, saying the “reunion” is a long time coming. “So happy to see you! @iamhearte. Grabe mga Mars, na-starstruck ako,” she quipped.
Both actresses go back decades. Camille was one of her generation’s child superstars, known for her role as protagonist Sarah in Sarah… Ang Munting Prinsesa, an iconic film that catapulted her into becoming a household name along with Angelica Panganiban. In 2000, she top-billed youth-oriented show G-Mik, which was also Heart’s acting debut.
Fun fact: In 2018, Heart took her followers on a trip down memory lane when she shared a snapshot of herself with her co-stars in the show. “This photo is nice. When life was a little less complicated,” she reminisced.
