As of writing, Charlie is having possibly the best 12 hours of her life so far. She won the Best Actress Award at the 47th Gawad Urian Awards for her role in Third World Romance. The movie stars her and Carlo. They play two grocery employees who find love during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Carlo then took to his Instagram to post a couple's photo shot by wedding photographer Mico Gonzales.
The photo features Carlo and Charlie walking hand-in-hand along a body of water. "Unti unti natin gagapangin ang buhay ng nakatawa," captioned Carlo.
Charlie commented an "I love you" to the post, while Jolina Magdangal and Alexa Ilacad shared in the *kilig*.
Wedding Bells Post-Urian Win?
Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) interviewed Charlie right after her Gawad Urian win last night and asked if a wedding would follow it up. The actress neither confirmed nor denied it as she joked with the press. PEP.ph also noted how in her acceptance speech, Charlie mentioned that her family, based in the United States, is currently in town.
In January 2023, Carlo first confirmed that he and Charlie were dating. The romance became a hot topic as speculations swirled in December 2022, when Charlie posted a photo with Carlo.
In July of the same year, Charlie called Carlo her boyfriend during her Gud Morning Kapatid appearance. Shortly after, netizens tried to spot if Charlie's new bling was an engagement ring.
Earlier this year, Carlo admitted that he is ready to settle down with Charlie.
