This might be the first time that Carlo Aquino admitted that he is finally *ready* to settle down with his now-girlfriend Charlie Dizon. He declares that the 27-year-old actress is ~*the one*~ for him.
Carlo casually admitted that he's looking forward to marrying Charlie soon. "Sana, oo. Kasi ilang taon na ako. Ilang [taon] na si Charlie," he told PEP.ph.
The actor was even open to questions about the timeline of their soon-to-be wedding plans. Will it be this year? He answered with, "This year? Let's see. Tingnan natin."
Some have speculated that the couple is already secretly engaged, with sightings of what seems to be an ~engagement ring~ on Charlie. When asked about it, the 38-year-old bachelor directly denied the allegation. "Lagi naman yung… tingnan niyo, ngayon. May suot din siya. Hindi galing sa akin yon," Carlo noted.

With his fresh outlook of marrying Charlie, Carlo was also intrigued about building a new family. It was in 2020 when the actor welcomed his first daughter with former partner Trina Candaza. Carlo and Trina had a controversial split in 2022.
A couple of years after his split, Carlo now declares that he is emotionally and financially prepared to tie the knot.
"To get married? Yes (I'm ready)," he firmly stated.
When asked whether he's now all for the conservative tradition of marriage before having another child, Carlo had no solid response. "Wala akong sinasabi. Siguro depende sa tao 'yan. Wala ako para magsabi ng kung anong gusto nilang gawin sa buhay nila," he said.

It has not been too long since Carlo and Charlie began their relationship. Despite being criticized for their romance, the actor affirms his happy and steady perspective on love and life because of Charlie.
He pointed out how wanting to settle down with Charlie was something that he naturally felt. "Siguro day by day, hindi ko ine-expect na ganon. Pero sobrang… iba lang... Yung outlook sa buhay, nagbago."
The actor appears smitten by his girlfriend whom he described as "palaban sa tamang paraan." He also shared about how their relationship feels light and comfortable for him, even when problems arise between them as a couple.
"Ang gaan, ang sarap tumawa. Naririnig niyo naman pag tumatawa, dinig… At saka pag may problema, uupuan. Pag-uusapan nang maayos," he stated.
The two have publicly announced their relationship in January 2023.
