But what is the real score between Darren and Cassy? It seems like we aren’t the only ones curious, as even Cassy’s mom Carmina Villarroel went straight to the point in asking about the CassRen tandem’s relationship IRL. LOL!
“So, ano ba kayong dalawa?” The celebrity mom asked her daughter during their TV stint on GMA Network’s Sarap, ‘Di Ba? “We're very close. So, I would say best friend. Best friend ko siya,” Cassy answered.
While Carmina reveals that she trusts Cassy with Darren, she admits that she doesn’t want her daughter to enter a relationship just yet.
“Alam mo kung bakit okay ako kay [Darren]? Kasi mabait siyang tao. Talagang pumupunta ‘yan sa bahay, at ang unang-una niyang ginagawa ay hinahanap kami ni Zoren para bumati,” Carmina shares. “Ang sabi sa akin ni Cassy, wala pa daw sa isip niya ang [mag-boyfriend], so gusto kong paniwalaan at gusto kong panghawakan ‘yung sinasabi niya.”
