Thousands of netizens are calling for justice over the gruesome and wrongful death of Killua, a dog who was beaten and left in a sack. Celebrities have also raised awareness regarding his death and condemned the shocking and brutal killing.
The hashtag #JusticeForKillua began trending on social media after his owner, Vina Rachelle, and other news sources reported on Killua's death. Killua's lifeless body was found in a sack after a CCTV video was released where Anthony Solares, the perpetrator, was seen beating the dog up.

Among the celebs who posted about Killua is Sarah Geronimo, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice her opinion.
"This news is extremely heartbreaking. Walang kalaban-laban 'yung aso. Katulad nating mga tao, nakakaramdam din sila ng takot at sakit. Every life deserves respect and protection. It's time to demand accountability and raise our voices against animal cruelty," she wrote.
"Let's unite in being the voice for the voiceless. Killua.. we will fight for you."
Carla Abellana
Carla Abellana, a staunch advocate of animal welfare, posted a picture of Killua from his birthday celebration with his owner's original post. "#JusticeForKillua will be given soon. You'll see," she wrote.

Jane De Leon
Jane De Leon posted on her official Facebook page about Killua and Erika, another dog who suffered a cruel death.
"Killua and Erika are just two of those abused and murdered ng walang kalaban-laban. My heart bleeds every time I read articles and posts like these dahil di ko ma-imagine if this happens to any of my furbabies and those other innocent and sweet furbabies to go through the same fate from the hands of cruel and heartless individuals and the excruciating pain the furparents feel seeing them lifeless," she wrote.
She added: "I hope that justice will prevail at maparusahan ang mga dapat parusahan. To these two babies at sa iba pang mga biktimang furbabies, I'm so sorry sa di makatarungan nyong pagkamatay. You don't deserve it...but RUN FREE for there's no pain anymore."

Chie Filomeno was among those who were heartbroken when she saw the image of Killua's lifeless body and the video of how he was killed.
Janella Salvador
Janella Salvador, another celebrity who has always been vocal about her love for animals, also joined the call for justice for the fallen dog. "People don’t deserve animals. Ang sakit sakit sa puso. These psychos better end up in jail," she declared.
Kim Atienza
Kim Atienza posted on Instagram, "Golden retrievers are the most gentle of dog breeds. The perpetrator's claim that Killua was attacking his family is highly unlikely."
"Dog cruelty happens more often than we think, lalo na sa Aspin. Rest well Killua," he added.
He also condemned the brutal killing of Killua on X (formerly Twitter). "You broke the law, you will go to jail sir," he said, addressing the perpetrator.
