Soon after, she and the other members of SSFI reached out to the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) to assist in their efforts for abandoned and homeless furbabies.

Tumana, Marikina was one of the places heavily affected by Typhoon Carina as Marikina River waters rose to dangerous levels. It's also where Kira Balinger shot her TV series Padyak Princess, so she returned to the area with boxes in tow.
She started her Instagram post saying, "Darna once said 'Ang pinakamalaking kasalanan ay kapag may kakayahan kang tumulong pero wala kang ginawa.' That's one good thing that really stuck with me from that show." She continues, "I'm not Darna, but just a simple person who wanted to share my blessings to those who were affected by super typhoon Carina."
