All of us are affected by the dreadful Manila traffic, and everyone's looking for alternative options just to get to their destinations on time. Even our fave celebs are so done with the nightmare that is EDSA, and they've chosen motorcycles as their fastest mode of transpo! Here, five personalities who've tried motorcycles to beat the traffic:
1. Kim Chiu
On August 19, 2019, Kim Chiu shared a series of Instagram Stories about her frustration regarding the PH's traffic situation. She spotted a girl riding an Angkas and wondered, "to motor or not to motor?" She chose the first option for her second ganap of the day and rode a motorcycle so she wouldn't be late for her volleyball practice! Go, Kim!
2. Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde
"Para kay LANY," wrote Maine Mendoza on an Instagram Stories video. Maine snapped a clip of herself riding a motorcycle on the way to LANY's concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 24, 2019. Her boyfriend Arjo Atayde was also with her, and they braved the rain by wearing raincoats and helmets during their ride, just to get to the event on time! Fun date night idea, am I right?
3. Julia Barretto and Erich Gonzalez
No halfhearted attempts for these two! On April 5, 2017, besties Erich Gonzales and Julia Barretto each rode a habal-habal to get to Coldplay's first Manila concert! They both got there safely and Erich even posted a vid of the band singing their iconic track "Fix You!"
