When it comes to celebs, sometimes we feel as though we know *so* much about them that we could actually be, well, real mates. However, it turns out that's far from the truth—as there are some celebrity names we've actually been pronouncing wrong for *years*.

From Khloé Kardashian to Chrissy Teigen and Amanda Seyfried, here are all the celeb names you've been saying incorrectly, plus the right way to pronounce them...

1. Adele

   Adele is the latest celeb to reveal that we've actually been saying her name wrong this whole time. During a recent Q&A in LA, Adele was asked about her songwriting by her fan, who pronounced her name correctly. The singer responded, “Love that. She said my name perfectly!”

   The correct pronunciation: “Ah-dell” not “Uh-dell.”

   OK, you might think you know everything about the Kardashians, but it turns out you could have actually been saying Khloé's name wrong. Well, at least according to US talk show host Andy Cohen.

   In an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Andy revealed, "We've all been pronouncing her name wrong this whole time."

   The right way, says Andy: "It's Khlo-AY. Khlo-AY is the name, there's a little accent over the name."

3. Chrissy Teigen

   OK, this one got us. Chrissy revealed in a tweet that basically the whole world has been pronouncing her surname incorrectly.

   Saying that she "gave up a long time ago" on correcting people, Chrissy explained: "Last name is Tie-gen not Tee-gen".

4. Amanda Seyfried

   OK, we're not really sure how we've been saying this one. But it's apparently actually "SIGH-fred" rater than "say-freed."

5. Ariana Grande

   During an interview with ET Canada, Ariana pronounced her surname like "Grand-ee" rather than "Grand-ay".

   We thought we were getting this one right, so this is all very much *news*.

   It's actually "uh-dee-nuh" rather than an "i-dee-nuh".

7. Camila Cabello

   The double "l" in Camila's surname is pronounced like "ay" in Spanish. So, it's "Cam-EE-la Cab-AY-o," not "Cab-ell-o."
