Celebrity siblings Cheska and Patrick Garcia mourn the passing of their beloved mother, Maria Celeste Dahlia Velasco, also known as Momsy Bing.
Their eldest sibling, Pichon Garcia, confirmed the sad news through a social media post. Hours after, Cheska wrote a heartfelt letter to their mother on Instagram. Momsy Bing passed away last April 20, 2024, at the age of 70.
"One cannot outlove or outgive a mother's generosity, selflessness, kindness, goodness, and care. I say this because, no matter how hard I try, my mom always gave her all and her best for her children," she began in her post.
Cheska expressed her eternal longing for his mom, who has been her number one confidante and guidance. In Cheska's words, she was the coolest and the kindest mom they could ever have.
"I am grateful for all the precious days I spent with you. You were there for all the important events in my life, and you were also there just to hang out, relax, and talk about anything and everything under the sun. [...] You even took the time to listen to my rants and offer me advice. You were never selfish with your time, always accompanying me to the bathroom so our conversations wouldn't be interrupted," Cheska said.
She continued, "I never did anything without you knowing or being there. You were always watching over me, cheering me on, and standing by my side." Cheska made sure to let the world know how their mother was the best at being a mother and a friend to her.
As reported, Momsy Bing's remains can be visited at the Arlington Memorial Chapels in Quezon City starting April 23, 3 PM-10 PM. The final day of her wake will be on April 26, Friday, at 7 PM.

In a separate post, Cheska's husband, Doug Kramer, also shared how he remembers his loving mother-in-law. "When you look at @chekakramer, she's a complete reflection of her mom. Our momsy. Beautiful inside and out!"
For Doug, Momsy Bing was the best mother-in-law and still the coolest grandmother to their kids. "The best mom-in-law anyone could have! The OG, the coolest Grandma, the funniest, and one who never runs out of chika because she knows all the issues on Facebook," Doug professed.
