The internet has rediscovered CJ Navato, and that's because of his recent appearance at the Star Magic Hot Summer 2024. ICYDK, CJ was once a part of the iconic kids' show, Goin Bulilit.
The now 27-year-old former child star made a buzz online for his great bod. Fans were in awe of how toned his physique was. CJ shared photos of her Star Magic Hot Summer experience with a heartfelt post, thanking his home agency Star Magic.
He called it his *rebirth.* CJ also shared how he invested all of his dedication and focus on preparing his best bod yet for the event.
He captioned his post, "Incredibly grateful for this journey. Coming into this, I didn’t know what to expect. I remember almost crying through the workouts, pushing myself further than I ever have before, and then looking at myself in the mirror and seeing only minimal results. Every day, I kept telling myself to just keep going. My fellow hot summer hotties kept me going."

1. He's a musician.
CJ may not have focused more on the acting aspect of his showbiz career, but he knows his music. Through the years, CJ wrote and performed his own songs.
Some of his notable tracks are, "Anumang Dulo," "Pangarap," and "In My Imagination."
2. He's a theater actor.
His knack for singing did not just end with writing original songs. He became a theater actor with his talent. ICYDK, he was cast as one of the lead actors for the musical adaptation of the film, One More Chance. He played the iconic role of Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz in the movie).
For him, it was an absolute honor to play the role. "I'm so honored kasi grabe, e, parang si John Lloyd Cruz ito technically tapos biglang CJ Navato. Saang libro yon, di ba, like, CJ yung sa Goin' Bulilit?" he expressed in an interview with PEP.ph.
"Wow, 'di ba, parang suntok sa buwan, yung tipong bumato ka tapos tumama siya agad. [...] I'm just so excited. I'm just taking everything day by day kaya thank you, Lord," Cj added.

3. He finished Culinary Arts in college.
CJ is a man of many talents. Aside from pursuing his passion for music, he also pursued his passion for cooking! Yup, the former child star is also a graduate of Culinary Arts from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
He shared his milestone through an IG post last October 2022, thanking his family who became his solid support through his college journey. In a previous interview with PUSH.com, he disclosed how he wanted to do something else other than acting. That's how he found his desire to pursue culinary arts.
"Ang tagal ko na-realize kasi simula bata ako naging artista na ako so hindi ko alam yung gusto ko gawin talaga in the future until nagka-soul searching din talaga. I really want to be a chef. Naging mahilig din ako kasi nanunuod ako ng mga MasterChef, yung mga ganung cooking shows," CJ explained.
4. He is a Virgo.
CJ who once swooned us with his charm as a kid has really entered his *hot* bachelor era. His birthday is on September 13, 1996. He is turning 28 years old this year.
5. He's still close with his Goin' Bulilit co-stars.
The Goin' Bulilit show has forged a friendship that knows no age. Several Goin' Bulilit stars have remained friends through the years, like Kathryn Bernardo, Miles Ocampo, and Julia Montes.
For CJ, there are also a number of Goin' Bulilit batchmates whom he can always refer to as his friends for life. In 2023, he shared snaps of John Manalo's birthday celebration.
