Many of today's top content creators initially working in a different field before committing full-time to making multimedia content. Did you know that Verniece Enciso, blogger-turned-vlogger, started out as a figure skater? Verniece, who now shares a YouTube channel with her older sister Vern, once competed in several skating competitions locally and internationally. Skating is one of her passions, and she even got to do a mini-movie where she put her skills to good use! What's more, her leading man in the short film is actually James Reid!
Verniece starred in a short film called On Thin Ice with a fresh-faced James Reid back in 2011. At that time, James was fresh out of the PBB House where he has been deemed the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010. Verniece played a figure skater (where she got to show off her skills!) while James played her coach. Fun fact: They were actually supposed to have a kissing scene, but Verniece felt uncomfortable about it and the director was kind enough to tell her that it's okay not to push through with it if that's how she felt.
The said short film is still available for viewing on YouTube. In a new vlog, Verniece made her boyfriend watch and react to the film, and it's equal parts hilarious and cute. She even joked, "I think, guys, we should report this video para it would be taken down on YouTube," because she felt cringy looking back at her younger self's acting. LOL!
