In a report by Pep.ph, two stars were spotted walking hand-in-hand while crossing a street’s pedestrian lane after a lunch date. It also was reportedly not the first time they were seen cozy with each other, as photos of the two working out in Siargao were also posted by a netizen weeks ago.
In an interview, Marco explained that he is good friends with Cristine. "Kami ni Cristine, we've worked together since 2015, first teleserye ko kasama ko siya sa Tubig at Langis. And I can say we have formed a relationship, a good solid friendship throughout the years."
While he didn’t directly confirm the rumors, the actor admitted that they’ve been spending quality time together. "We've been very, very close. We've been working out together, hanging out a lot. Yun lang naman yung gusto ko sabihin."
Probed by a reporter if they were "merely hanging out", the actor had a playful response: "Masama ba makipag-hang out? Hindi, joke lang."
He had nothing but kind words for his rumored girlfriend. "Cristine is a very wonderful person. Click kami in terms sa mga trip namin sa buhay, ugali namin. Nagku-complement kami."
Asked if there’s a possibility that their friendship can blossom into romance, Marco *meaningfully* replied, "Nasa sa kanya yun! Basta pag ano, malalaman niyo naman yun."
