Danica Sotto and Marc Pingris have become the talk of the town, following rumors that their 17-year marriage was in trouble over the basketball player's alleged infidelity.
Danica however appeared to have shut this down with a short comment on the Facebook post of her bff, Pebbles Duque.
Pebbles, who identified herself as Danica's best friend, posted an implicit explanation to some rumors—also defending that Danica and Marc have built a beautiful family.
She wrote on Facebook, "Re Marc Pingris:
That photo was taken before pa Feb 16.
My besfriend Danica and him have a very beautiful family."
Pebbles' post briefly ended with a statement calling out rumor-mongers this Holy Week.
"Holy week na, dasal na lang po tayo para naman mabawasan yung mga kasalanan natin. #char," said Pebbles.
Trouble in Paradise for Danica Sotto and Marc Pingris?
Over on social media, photos alleging Marc of cheating on Danica with an actress circulated.
Some X (formerly Twitter) accounts questioned the legitimacy of the photos and if it was all coincidence that Marc and the actress were at the same place twice.Others though have commented that Marc has long been alleged to be committing infidelity.
One of the photos suggest that Marc and the actress were spotted at a local food chain. While the other photos lead to speculations that they also spent time together in Australia.
Danica Sotto reacts to best friend's post on Marc Pingris
Following these speculations, Pebbles' Facebook post came right on time. No official statement has been released yet from the Pingris couple. But Danica made sure to leave a *chill* response to her best friend's post.
"Kalma miga! we love you," Danica shortly replied. As of writing, Marc has yet to respond to the allegations.
Danica and Marc have been married since 2007. They are parents to three beautiful children namely Anielle Micaella, Jean Michel, and Jean Luc.
