Sure enough, after Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla both released statements confirming their breakup on Thursday, November 30, a number of KathNiel fans mistakenly sent messages to model-actor Daniel Matsunaga. The TV host responded in a lighthearted manner by sharing screenshots of several DMs on Instagram.
"guys there are many Daniels sa buong mundo. iba po yun surname ko talaga promise [laughing emoji] salamat pows. God bless. ps:will delete this post later," he wrote.
Daniel also shared a screenshot on his Instagram Stories with an additional message: "guys pls iba po yun surname ko. maraming daniel sa mundo salamat po."
Several celebrities left comments detailing how funny they found the situation, including Ruffa Gutierrez, Tim Yap, and Laureen Uy. Host Denise Laurel also shared a story of her own: "Till this day I have to deal with DENNIECE CORNEJO AND FOODS SA CONDO." LOL!
