Can exes be friends? Well, it seems Daniel Padilla is making a case for it as he recently posted a birthday greeting for his ex-girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo.
Daniel greeted Kathryn through an Instagram Story. His birthday greeting was written in Japanese characters. The image he uploaded was an animated and filtered photo of Kathryn. It appears that Daniel posted the greeting at exactly 12 midnight on March 26, 2024.
Daniel's post followed the wedding of Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo, which he and Kathryn were spotted attending. As of writing, there are no photos of Daniel and Kathryn in one frame.
It was in November 2023 when Kath officially announced the end of their 11-year relationship through a lengthy Instagram post. "Like any other relationship, we tried our best to make it work. We've been drifting apart for a while now, and we ultimately had to accept that we can't go back to where we used to be. It just won't be fair to pretend that everything is still the same," she wrote.

One of Kath's closest friends, Sofia Andres, posted a heartfelt message for our favorite Aries. She wrote on Instagram, "You make everyone feel that they belong, a family. stay true to yourself & always always keep your feet on the ground. we love you mucho."

Kathryn's longtime friend and hairstylist, John Valle, also uploaded a video of the actress being greeted with a happy birthday. Visibly grateful, Kathryn was beaming with joy surrounded by her loved ones.
