Daniel Padilla quickly responded to netizens commenting over a viral video of him during his birthday. His response also sent a clear message to the public.
Speaking to some of the press at an event, Daniel was asked for his take on the viral video. For context, he was filmed wholeheartedly singing during his party in Tanauan, Batangas last week (his birthday was on April 26, 2024).
The Kapamilya star generated online buzz when videos of him including a curse word in the song he was singing circulated. He belted out, "Pati lupang pinagsamahan mukha yatang nilimot na ng puso mong biglang lumisan. At ngayon, pu$4^6!^@ may kapiling ka nang iba."

Netizens had split opinions on Daniel's performance, especially since it was his first birthday as a single man. But Daniel asked netizens to "relax," requesting them not to cause any issues as he was just enjoying himself at the time.
"Ang OA ng mga tao. Masyadong OA ang mga tao. Nag-eenjoy lang ako. Relax," he briefly told the press in a video uploaded by MJ Marfori.
Some netizens think Daniel's viral birthday performance alludes to his real reaction to ex-girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo's alleged new love life. Kathryn was recently linked to a couple of actors, including Alden Richards.
