Dasuri Choi is standing up for herself. In a vlog, Dasuri decided to address the hate comments people have been sending her on social media.
The dancer-host's vlog became an avenue for her to break her silence and speak up about her alleged involvement in a celebrity couple's breakup in late 2023. The couple in question are Kapuso stars Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara.
"I think they’re talking about the issue late last year. I’m officially saying that I’m not the third party," Dasuri directly stated in her vlog.
"I will never try to be the third party in my life because I didn’t grow up to be like that. Because I was raised by my parents na super-super bait. Wala talagang mangyayari sa akin na magiging third party," she explained.
Dasuri further elaborated on the matter. She detailed the instance when a video of her having dinner with Mavy, Cassy Legaspi, and Michael Sager went viral for the wrong reasons. It was one of the things that added fuel to the cheating allegations that sparked between her and Mavy.
She clarified that it was not an intimate dinner—instead, it was a dinner with other celebrities. "That time kasi, 'yung restaurant na 'yan… someone shot a photo of us because that was the soft opening restaurant ng Tahanang Pinakamasaya executive producer. So we went there not only four of us, but incuding kuya Paolo [Contis], Winwyn [Marquez], Arra [San Agustin], Yasser [Mata], and lahat ng hosts. Hindi ko alam kung bakit yun lang ang (finocus) ng account owner na 'yun."
"Close kaming lahat...it's nothing, it's nothing talaga kaya wala akong pake. Basta I'm doing (what's) right," Dasuri strongly declared.

ICYDK, Dasuri and Mavy are co-hosts in the noontime show, Tahanang Pinakamasaya. They began working together in 2023, just months before rumors about Mavy and Kyline breaking up circulated online.
Kyline and Mavy began dating in 2021. They maintained a steady love team, known as MavLine, while pursuing their offscreen romance. The couple have not given a solid confirmation on their breakup since the cheating allegations surfaced. And since then, there has been no public sighting of Mavy and Kyline together.
