Ooof, new details are coming out about Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich's breakup and it looks like there were some major trust issues. Which—considering claims that Demi's friends were suspicious of Max's intentions, and Max's alleged/possibly fake tweets about Selena Gomez—might not come as a shock.

Sources tell E! News that Demi and Max were "arguing a lot" before he traveled to Atlanta to film a new project—and on top of that Demi "didn't know who Max truly was and didn't think he had good intentions."
"There were many red flags she was ignoring and trying to turn a blind eye to," one source says, while another adds "she doesn't trust him and thinks he's sketchy" and "feels [Max] proposed to get attention."
