Good news, DonBelle fans: Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano are set to make their comeback on the small screen *very* soon, and we're super excited! During the launch of the Star Magic 30 Catalogue a few days ago, the Gen Z love team revealed more details about their upcoming project.
"We're gonna have a serye titled, Can't Buy Me Love," Belle shared. "This is under the direction of Direk Mae Cruz Alviar."
Donny divulged that this has been in the works for the longest time, and he can't wait for their supporters (aka Bubblies) to watch the series once it's out.
"It’s been a while in the works as well. I’m sure a lot of our supporters have been waiting for that, pinapaganda pa nila yung script. Very excited na kami. We went through immersions already [and] met with Direk Mae. [We already had] a lot of meetings, preparations…" the 25-year-old actor noted.
The love team also revealed that they have already started the necessary preparations for the show. Belle has already met up with Direk Mae to talk about her character, while Donny has already finished his look test and shoots for their show's poster. All that's left to do is wait for shooting!
ICYDK, Donny and Belle's last show was He's Into Her, a 2021 teen rom-com based on the 2012 Wattpad novel of the same name by Maxinejiji. Since then, the love team has teamed up again for the show's second season in 2022. They have also starred in two movies, Love Is Color Blind (2021) and An Inconvenient Love (2022).
