This generation's newest hit love team, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, have amassed *thousands* of fans, but as with every successful pairing, they have also had to deal with bashers.
During the official media conference for their new film Love Is Color Blind, Donny defended Belle in the *sweetest way possible* when asked for his reaction to a basher calling Belle "hindi maganda."
"First of all, yung mga bashers, hindi naman namin masyado pinapansin kasi may mga pinagdadaanan din sila. Pero, ako mag-a-attest ako, sobrang ganda ni Belle," he shared. "You know, honestly, let's focus on the good things. She's so talented. She released an album. I'm so proud of her."
Belle added, "I just wish people would be kinder to one another, honestly. Parang, just don't let it affect you. 'Yon lang talaga. And just focus on the good things, that's it."
What is DonBelle's new film about?
The Star Cinema film will tell the story of best friends Cara and Ino. The official trailer showed us how Cara develops ~feelings~ for Ino, but comes to the conclusion that it's only one-sided. Ino has color blindness and swears off love...that is until a new girl, Iris (Angelina Cruz), comes into his life. Things get even more complicated with the addition of someone from Cara's past, Sky (Jeremiah Lisbo).
