From building their dream family home to raising three beautiful kids, Chesca and Doug Kramer have raised the bar for an incredible marriage. The two have been together for 19 years, 14 of those as a married couple, and they’re ~stronger~ than ever. On Instagram, Doug penned the sweetest greeting for his ladylove.
“To my best friend, sweetheart, confidant, and partner in everything, Happy 14th wedding anniversary! My love for you has continually grown throughout these years,” he wrote, sharing a carousel of adorable couple photos.
He also revealed the secrets to their longstanding relationship—mentioning a few tips and tricks to make a marriage work.
“We started our very first conversation by talking for 7 hours straight! And up to today, our date nights still consist of spending time and talking for hours and hours! So undivided time together is essential.”
He gave their followers a glimpse of their life together, like laughing at each other's jokes and being each other’s *number one* cheerleader.
One would be surprised to know that for them, unlike many couples, money was never an issue. “We have never ever fought about money, not even when we were in debt and in need.”
Lastly, he attributes their marriage's success to their faith. "We pray together and continually acknowledge we need Jesus because of how imperfect we are. His grace sustains us and makes us want to work on our marriage every single day."
