The singer-songwriter has long been a Filipino favorite when it comes to discography—from karaoke sessions to first dance songs at weddings, there'll always be an Ed Sheeran track in the mix. So when it was announced that Ed would be making his way back to the Philippines as part of his +-=÷x tour (pronounced "The Mathematics Tour"), we couldn't be *happier*. When and where will Ed Sheeran's concert in Manila be held?

Ed Sheeran will be returning to Manila on Saturday, March 9 at the SMDC Festival Grounds.  His last visit to the Philippines was for his 2018 Divide tour, an unforgettable sold-out night at the Mall Of Asia concert grounds.

How much do tickets cost for Ed Sheeran's concert in Manila?

The public sale for tickets began on October 26, 2023 at 12NN via SM Tickets in the Philippines. Here is the ticket price breakdown and seat plan (exclusive of ticketing charges and online fees):

  • Cat 1 (reserved seating) - P20,500
  • Cat 2 (reserved seating) - P18,500
  • Cat 3 (reserved seating) - P16,500
  • Cat 4 (reserved seating) - P14,500
  • Cat 5 (free seating) - P11,500

Who are the special guests performing at Ed Sheeran's concert in Manila?

English singer-songwriter Calum Scott got his big break competing on Britain's Got Talent. He earned Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer by performing his version of Robyn's hit "Dancing on My Own." Since then, he's released two studio albums and four EPs. Get ready to say hello to twin brothers Miguel Benjamin and Paolo Benjamin (acoustic guitars and vocals), Poch Barretto (electric guitar), Keifer Cabugao (violin), Andrew De Pano and Toni Munoz (percussion), Pat Lasaten (keyboards), Agnes Reoma (bass), and Jam Villanueva (drums). On their Instagram account, the OPM artists shared their excitement about being special guests at Ed Sheeran's concert. "Ma, special guest na kami ni Ed Sheeran sa concert niya [sobbing emoji]."

"Parang dati lang, nagcocover lang kami ng "perfect" sa Youtube. Never in our wildest dreams did we think this could happen. Surreal," they continued.

"SLIDE FOR A THROWBACK! Ibang iba pa itsura namin nun. Andami na pala nating pinagdaanan, Liwanag" they told their fans, before ending their message with a hand heart emoji.
