Elijah Canlas and Miles Ocampo might have broken up, but it seems like the two are still on good terms with each other. Case in point: Elijah posted the *sweetest* birthday greeting on Instagram for his ex, who turned 27 on Wednesday, May 1.

On his Instagram Story, Elijah posted a sweet picture of him and Miles, with the actress leaning on his shoulder. "Thank you for regularly making all of us smile one way or another, birthday girl," he wrote.
He added: "You are loved. [earth emoji]"
Elijah also added stills from the 1994 movie Chungking Express that referenced May 1, which is Miles' birthday. As for the song choice, he chose "She's My Baby," a song by Paul McCartney and Wings. It's worth noting that it's a ~love song~ dedicated to Linda McCartney, Paul's first wife. Sweet!

ICYDK, the two actors became a couple in 2021, though it was only in May 2022 that Miles officially ~*hard-launched*~ their relationship on Instagram. Elijah mentioned in an interview with Ogie Diaz that he and Miles preferred to keep their relationship on the down low, which is why there are hardly any traces of their relationship on social media.
"Very private persons talaga kaming dalawa. E ako, parang hindi rin naman ako ma-post sa social media talaga. So, hindi ko alam yung galawan, e siya yung mas may alam. 'Yon lang, nagki-keep lang po ng privacy," he shared.
Two years later, on November 2023, it was revealed that the two stars had broken up. They both noted, however, that there was no third party involved in their split.
However, love might be in the air for the former couple, as Elijah recently hinted at a possible reconciliation with Miles.
"Looking for love? What if love pa?" was Elijah's response when he was asked by entertainment reporter MJ Felipe if finding love was one of his agendas for 2024.
When asked to clarify if that meant he and Miles would be getting back together, Elijah responded with a *cryptic* answer: "We're friends. You'll be the first to know."
Miles also gave a similar response in a separate interview with MJ Marfori. "Let's see. We're working on it," she answered when asked about the status of her relationship with her ex-boyfriend.
