Here comes the baby! Ellen Adarna is now a mother of two as she gave birth to her first child with husband, Derek Ramsay.
Derek broke the news on his Instagram page. He uploaded a photo of Ellen still lying on her hospital bed, looking as pretty as ever, with her nails on fleek in the shade of royal blue, holding the newest addition to their happy family. Beside Ellen was her eldest son, Elias, seemingly conversing with his mom and sibling.
The excited father captioned his post with, "My world keeps getting better and better. #houseofdragons" Well, it has been a couple of years since the Ellen and Derek got married, and they have been very open about their plans to have their own baby.
Their fellow celebrities and friends expressed congratulations for the couple. But one of their friends, TV broadcaster Karen Davila, seemed to have known a "secret" about Ellen and Derek's child. Karen commented, "CONGRATULATIONS wooohoo! Made in Antarctica [heart eyes] @ramsayderek07 hugs to you both!" Made...in Antarctica?
Of course, we got curious, and after some digging, Ellen, Derek, Karen together with their friends and families did an Antarctica escapade last February 2024! And a girl math experts, this confirms that October would've really been the perfect birth month for their baby ;)

Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay's pregnancy journey
It wasn't an easy journey for the couple. Ellen and Derek got married in 2021, and have been vocal about their plans of building a family. Although, they are both happy parents to Elias and Austin Ramsay, the two wanted more kids together.
Last December 2023, Derek was the first one to share to the public that Ellen had a miscarriage. He noted that it was their first attempt of having a baby—and they lost the kid. "Noong nasa Spain kami, nalaman namin na preggy si Ellen. And then unfortunately, we lost the baby pero at least alam namin na hindi kami baog. First attempt pa lang naman," Derek shared in a press con for his horror film, Kampon.

It was also last year when Ellen shared bits of her preparation for pregnancy. The 36-year-old celebrity talked about how she quit smoking and even removed her IUD (intrauterine device). "Next year na ako mabuntis […] One last na lang, and hopefully, it's a girl,” she once shared. Moreover, it has been her goal to have a baby born in the Year of the Dragon, which is this 2024. Hence, she manifested the timeline for her baby, "Dragon baby kaya kailangang manganak ako after February 10 [2024] para year of the Dragon, so, naka-schedule 'yan."

Interestingly, Ellen was born in 1988 which is also the Year of the Dragon! That's must also be the reason why Derek flaunted the hashtag, #houseofdragons!
