ICYMI, Jericho Rosales posted a throwback photo of their 2000s groups The Hunks together with Piolo Pascual and Diether Ocampo. It was indeed fun to see them *together again* after almost a decade.
Echo's post sparked our curiosity. Now, we wonder about the other heartthrobs that swept all our hearts during our younger years. Let's look at our favorite Filipino 90's heartthrobs' current lives.
Here's a list of some of our favorite '90s heartthrobs.
What are they up to these days?
1. Miko Samson
Miko Samson whom you might have known as Tonsy of G-Mik, is now a happy and devoted family man. Now a father to his adorable son, Miko enjoys the simplicity of life outside showbiz.
The former G-mik star pursued law and even graduated from Columbia University in the U.S.

2. Onemig Bondoc
Onemig Bondoc had a rough relationship with his estranged wife, Valerie Bariou. In 2015, it was reported that the former teen star has filed sole custody of his kids.
Onemig drew popularity for being one of the members of the hit teen show in the '90s, T.G.I.S. Despite being single at present, he has invested much of his time in his kids, and also taekwondo! Just a couple of months ago, he posted on his Instagram a photo of his certificate for achieving a blue belt.

3. Stefano Mori
Here's another unforgettable G-Mik star! Stefano Mori played the character of Borj who was the childhood crush of Camille Prats' character.
Do you remember JCS? It was Stefano's band together with fellow child stars John Prats and Carlo Aquino during the '90s.
In a recent interview with Camille Prats, she said she has no contact with Stefano. The former actor is not on any social media page either. Looks like he's enjoying a highly private life!

4. Michael Flores
This former TGIS star who played the character of Mickey did not leave showbiz. Michael Flores is still portraying coveted roles on TV. Also, Michael is happily married to Miss Universe Philippines 2000 titleholder and news anchor, Nina Ricci Alagao-Flores. They are fun parents to their three kids.
In 2022, he starred in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Partners in Crime, which was top-billed by Vice Ganda and Ivana Alawi. At present, he has joined the cast of GMA's teleserye, The Missing Husband.

5. Bobby Andrews
So here's another one of the original TGIS barkada. Bobby Andrews aged quite well! He was paired with TGIS co-star Angelu De Leon and they topbilled many movies together.
In the 2022 elections, the former teen star ran to be a Quezon City councilor but the votes fell short for him. Now, Bobby is still appearing as an actor from time to time. If you can remember, he also played the iconic father of Mara and Clara in the 2010 remake of Mara Clara.

6. Gio Alvarez
We believe that any generation should know about Home Along Da Riles. So, here we re-introduce one of its main stars, Gio Alvarez.
The one and only Comedy King led the sitcom for seven years as the hardworking and enthusiastic father, Kevin. Gio was one of the five Cosme kids, which included Claudine Barretto, Boy 2 Quizon, Vandolph Quizon, and Smokey Manaloto.

Just this September, the movie adaptation of the '90s TV show was remastered to give honor to the Comedy King and how Home Along Da Riles left an impact on Philippine TV.
Gio, who had cemented his career in the entertainment industry as one of da Cosme's sons, is now playing father roles. He recently played the role of Sofia Pablo's father in GMA's Luv is Caught In His Arms.

7. Jao Mapa
Now we have Jao Mapa who was in the hit GMA show from the hit television variety show, Gwapings!
He started his career in showbiz as early as 1993 but had to take a pause during the early 2000s to focus on his studies as a fine arts student at the University of Santo Tomas.
After his comeback to television, he became part of the 7-year run of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano alongside Coco Martin.
Jao also shares his artwork on social media from time to time!

8. Patrick Garcia
Ang TV, Gimik, Mula sa Puso, Tabing Ilog—name a '90s show and you'll probably see Patrick Garcia in it.
At present, Patrick is married to his wife Nikka Garcia. They were blessed with not one but four adorable kids namely, Michelle, Nicola, Francisca, and Enrique. The family shares tidbits of their life through their vlog, Garcia Family.

Patrick also has a son, Alex Jazz with ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
Although Patrick is not much seen on teleseryes nowadays, he did not leave showbiz and still accepts projects from time to time. In fact, he has an upcoming film with Tabing Ilog co-stars Kaye Abad and Paolo Contis.

9. John Prats
Before we saw Heart Evangelista as a fashion icon, we all first loved her as Missy in the hit '90s teen show, G-Mik, and with Heart's character also comes John Prats' character, Yuan. Yup, the two were former co-stars and were actually paired in the show.
Just like Patrick, John was everywhere during the '90s. He was also part of Ang TV, and was a famous dancer of his generation.
Until now, he is still one of the household names in the entertainment industry. Now he is directing concerts! These days we all know him directing acts from famous K-pop artists, like Jessi.
Aside from that, John also married showbiz actress Isabel Oli and they have three super cute kids, Feather, Freedom, and Forest.

10. Carlo Aquino
The young Carlo Aquino delivered the iconic line "Akala mo lang wala, pero meron, meron, meron!" Since his legendary film with the Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos, Bata, Bata... Pa'no ka Ginawa? in 1998, Carlo has been a household name.
But we also can't forget his stint as Junjun in the youth-oriented show, G-mik. Carlo was paired with Angelica Panganiban, who later became one of his ex-girlfriends.
At present, Carlo's acting career is still thriving. Just recently, he top-billed the movie Third World Romance together with his current girlfriend Charlie Dizon.
For his personal life, well, he's reportedly facing a legal battle for his visitation rights to her first daughter Enola Mithi with former partner, Trina Candaza.

11. Danilo Barrios
So, before K-pop, the Philippines had its own boy group that showcased their love and talent for dancing. Streetboys cemented their mark in the showbiz industry as the dance icons of the 1990s. One of them was Danilo Barrios.
From being one of the cuties of the group, Danilo ventured into acting and starred in some films like Magnifico and Dekada '70.
Unlike his former groupmates, Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario, Danilo slowly moved away from showbiz. He's now enjoying the simple life with his non-showbiz wife, and three kids!

12. Marvin Agustin
We might all remember him as the charming Ned in the hit 1998 film Labs Kita...Okey lang? along with Jolina Magdangal—and their love team was one for the books! But they were never together, you guys. Regardless, the two are openly staying in touch.
Marvin Agustin still accepts showbiz projects here and there. However, he chooses to focus more on his businesses as a chef and as an entrepreneur!
