So, in case no one told you yet: FRIENDS is officially leaving Netflix Philippines. We don't even try to hide it: we do our casual rewatch of the sitcom's episodes and that's how we spotted that heartbreaking series update on Netflix. It read: "Leaving Soon. Last day to watch on Netflix: October 31." You read that right, the popular American sitcom will be out of Netflix Philippines by the end of this month.

Where can you watch FRIENDS in the Philippines?

Now, the real question is: will another streaming platform adopt the well-loved TV series? Unfortunately, we still do not have info on where (or when) will FRIENDS be available again in the Philippines after October 31.

But we do know that in the U.S., the series can be accessed on several streaming platforms like HBO's Max, Apple TV+, Prime Video, and Hulu. It left Netflix US in 2020 after their licensing rights expired, so we kinda got our extra four years with Ross, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, and Joey. While it's sad to see FRIENDS leave Netflix, we're crossing our fingers that it'll still be accessible in the digital streaming space in the Philippines.

Starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, FRIENDS brought us the LOL-worthy story of six friends navigating through their adulthood in the middle of the busy streets of Manhattan in New York City. The show gained prominence with its timeless and funny script that resonated well with its audience.

It's so big that several years later, fans were stoked about a FRIENDS reunion. And it finally happened in 2021! Their reunion special aired via HBO Max and all six of the cast were present there. It was originally slated for 2020, but since the pandemic happened, their filming got pushed to 2021—nearly twenty years since the show ended. Celebrities like Justin Bieber, BTS, Cara Delevigne, Lady Gaga, and more had a cameo appearance in the reunion special.
