It looks like Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia and singer Janine Teñoso go a way back.
Recently, Gabbi attended one of Janine's gigs and reposted on Instagram stories a video of them jamming together, with the proud caption:
"Sooo proud of Janine Teñoso. Trivia!!! We were HS best friends. So I happy I get to see her in the industry as well! [Watch for] this girl!!!"
Janine is actually a Viva artist and the singer behind the remake of Rivermaya's song "Ulan." You've probably heard it because it's featured in the soundtrack of Ulan, Nadine Lustre's latest film.

Janine's no stranger to remakes. She's done a version of Rivermaya's "214," part of the 100 Tula Para Kay Stella OST, and Itchyworms' "Di Na Muli," included in the Sid & Aya (Not a Love Story) OST.
