Valentine's Day doesn't always have to be spent with a significant other. While you're waiting for that special someone, you can always spend it with your besties! A girls' movie night might just be what you need to recover and recharge. Not to mention, it's also a really good way to avoid all the couples who are going on dates, LOL. If you don't have a flourishing love life (yet), maybe you can swoon over fictional characters' meet cutes and root for others as they win in life with your girl friends. Plus, these movies are available on your fave streaming sites, which makes it even better!

6 fun movies you can watch with your besties for Galentine's Day
Barbie
Where to watch: Max
Name a better girlypop movie than Barbie, I'll wait. The Barbie Movie is *the* epitome of everything that's girl-coded™ which is why it is a must for every girls' movie night. It's a fun and empowering movie that deserves a rewatch every now and then. Watching Barbie won't just give you a ton of laughs and give you your dose of nostalgia, but also tug on your heart a little with Gloria's (America Ferrera) very moving speech on what it feels like to be a woman. Who better to watch and experience this all over again than with your besties, right?

Anyone But You
Where to watch: Netflix
Love at first sight? Fake dating? Enemies to lovers? That one scene from Titanic? Name it, Anyone But You has it. Not that you needed anything else since Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell should already be enough to convince you to put this movie on for your Galentine's movie night. This movie is giving early 2000s rom-coms in all the best ways possible.

Crazy Rich Asians
Where to watch: Max
This movie is an in-flight go-to movie for many—and for good reason. But you don't have to wait for your next trip to watch it when you can have it lined up for your sleepover itinerary. It offers a peek into Singapore's high society and the lavish lives of the titular crazy rich Asians. At the same time, it explores the traditions and expectations that can come with old-money families. But at the end of the day, true love prevails, making this movie a great choice for a Valentine's watch too.

13 Going On 30
Where to watch: Netflix and Max
One of the movies that inspired me to get into fashion and magazines as a child was 13 Going On 30. Jenna Rink (Jennifer Garner) working in Composure Magazine, wearing all those colorful outfits and shoes that came from her walking closet scratched my brain in a particular way. This movie just screams girlhood and is a comfort film in all its glory. Jenna's famous Thriller dress even had a lil moment a few years back!
Plus, this movie gave us young Mark Ruffalo *heart eyes*—he was such a big green flag here, btw!

Clueless
Where to watch: Apple TV
"Ugh, as if!" should be a default response to anything and everything that doesn't deserve our energy, tbh. Clueless' Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) was another style role model that girls had growing up—those yellow coords and other preppy looks were so chic! Not to mention, she had her own high-tech closet! Putting this movie on during a Galentine's movie night would be an absolute vibe. Young Paul Rudd wearing flannel shirts might just also be another reason to watch this movie.

Legally Blonde
Where to watch it: YouTube Movies
IMO, no movie's as empowering as Legally Blonde. Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) may have started her Harvard Law School journey in the hopes of getting her ex-boyfriend Warner (Matt Davis) back. But as the movie progressed, she learned to embrace her strengths and just own her being such a queen!

It was just a bonus that she met the real love of her life there Emmett (Luke Wilson). In case you and your besties need the pick me up and a reminder that you deserve better, Legally Blonde will do just that and more.
