[Warning: Game of Thrones spoilers beyond this point. You know the drill.]

Game of Thrones season 8, episode 4 may have been called "The Last of the Starks," but it wasn't Arya, Sansa, Bran, or even Jon (who's really a Targaryen and can't shut up about it) who met their fate. Instead, yesterday's GoT killed off two of its purest souls, Rhaegal and sweet summer child Missandei.

Whereas dragon number two's death was swift as an arrow to the neck, Missandei's was long and drawn out. After a failed attempt to storm King's Landing, Grey Worm and Daenerys were forced to look on as The Mountain decapitated the beloved adviser in front of their entire army. But Missandei had the opportunity to share some last words, and she didn't waste them. "Dracarys," she said.

Basically, she told Dany to burn it all down. Not so demure anymore, huh?

This is a pivotal moment, which some fans noticed. She basically gave the Mother of Dragons permission to go full Mad Queen. Dany's other advisers, Tyrion and Varys, on the other hand, have been practically begging Dany to be cordial about all this. In their eyes, it's Cersei alone who Dany is fighting, not the innocent people of the realm. Yeah, that argument wasn't working out so well for them, even before Cersei brutally murdered Dany's only true friend.

Let's just say that fans who were previously #TeamTyrion on this one are also ready to see the streets of King's Landing run red with blood.

However, many fans are rightfully pissed, not at Cersei, but at Game of Thrones. It's been pointed out how disappointing it is that one of the only characters of color, whose entire character arc revolved around being freed from slavery, had to die back in chains... especially if only to feed into Dany's rage machine.

The message is clear: Missandei deserved better. It's time to burn it all down.
