Gerald Anderson says marriage and kids aren't far off in his life goals. In a recent interview with Karen Davila, the 35-year-old actor also shares what makes his relationship with Julia Barretto *click*.

Gerald Talks About The Future
Gerald features this week on Karen's YouTube channel. The episode starts with Karen visiting Gerald at his gym business The Th3rd Floor Park while it hosted a fun day for special children.
The feature touches on Gerald's advocacy which started when he played the lead in the 2011 drama series Budoy. "I think it will always be part of my life," he said.
As Gerald gives Karen a tour of his halfway house/office, she jokingly asks, "Kailangan mo ba talaga ng misis to keep house?"
"Malapit na," Gerald replied in good humor. Karen quickly follows up, "Are you ready for marriage?"
"I'm closer to that kasi kung five, three years ago tanong ninyo sa akin yan, hindi-hindi. But, syempre that's why I am doing all of this kasi gusto ko maalagaan yung mga anak ko na wala silang iisipin. But hindi sila pwede maging spoiled kasi hindi madali ang buhay. Everything I do in life is leading up to 'yung aspeto na 'yun," said Gerald.
On Julia Barretto And Possibly Working With Exes
"What makes Julia different?" Karen asked in the last part of the episode.
"'Cause we support each other. 'Yun ang pinaka-importante dun eh. She supports me with my endeavors, 'yung trabaho ko, 'yung pagba-basketball ko. Alam din kasi niya na 'yun din nagpapasaya akin, 'yun din nagmo-motivate sa akin everyday," Gerald replied. "Sana she sees how passionate I am about mga bagay na iyon and she supports me. And vice-versa din. I always try push her to be the best version of herself. We're going through this journey together, maraming highs and lows but as long gagawin natin together, I think it makes everything better."
Karen later asked, "Can you work with any of your exes?" "Of course. Sino ba naman ako para hindi...'yun...,"says Gerald before he went into a laughing fit.
Last April, Gerald noted how "Time heals" when asked for a comment about Julia and Bea Alonzo's reconciliation. The two women were spotted sharing a *bestie moment* during Johnny Manahan’s #MrMNightof100Stars party. In 2019, Julia, Gerald, and Bea turned the showbiz world upside down as Gerald and Bea's breakup played out online.
It looks like that now in 2024, peace is reigning where there was once turmoil and Gerald is only anticipating more good things ahead.
