Gerald Anderson, who recently spoke up about the end of his relationship with his girlfriend of almost three years, Bea Alonzo, has joined the Philippine Army as a private reservist.
In a Twitter post shared by ABS-CBN’s MJ Felipe on August 9, Gerald, Elmo Magalona, Nash Aguas, Yves Flores, and Jerome Ponce completed a three-day Soldier’s Skills Orientation Training in Camp Tecson in San Miguel, Bulacan. MJ added in his tweet that the men graduated as Private Reservists for the Philippine Army.
Matteo Guidicelli, who joined the Philippine Army as a reservist in April 2019, was reported to have served as one of the men’s instructors at the training camp.
Gerald, Elmo, Nash, Yves, and Jerome joined the army in preparation for their roles in the upcoming ABS-CBN military drama, A Soldier’s Heart. The show also stars Carlo Aquino and Vin Abrenica.
