Wow, wow, wow, it has been a whirlwind 24 hours since we discovered that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are expecting their first child together, amirite? The internet rejoiced and congratulated the couple on bringing possibly the Cutest Baby Ever into the world within the next couple of months (and still hasn't stopped). But now, we finally know what the sex of the baby is, y'all!
According to an Entertainment Tonight source, Gigi is pregnant with a girl (!!!) and she and Zayn literally could not be any more excited. The two are "over the moon" with this info, but TBH, it sounds like they weren't set on having a girl or a boy. "At the end of the day, it didn't matter to the couple what the sex was, but now they can prepare for the new addition before she arrives," ET's source explained.
LOL, remember when fans were convinced that Gigi's 25th birthday party doubled as a baby shower? And that people were almost CERTAIN that Gigi was having a boy because the string on her balloon was blue? Yeah…the stans aren't always right.
Looks like it'll be nothing but happiness for Gigi and Zayn over the next couple of months (Gigi's already 20 weeks along)—they're really excited for their baby's arrival, and their families are both incredibly happy for them, which is super sweet.
"Gigi has kept the secret close to her family and friends for a while as she's only a few months along," a separate ET source said when the baby news broke. "Once Gigi and Zayn got back together at the end of last year, it was like they never skipped a beat and knew what they had was special. The couple and their families are overjoyed."
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be placing bets on what this beautiful baby girl's name will be!
