The ~*manifesting*~ worked, you guys—our coffee prince, goblin, and recruiter Gong Yoo is finally on Instagram!
Earlier today, his agency, Management SOOP, has announced the good news on their official IG account. They said that his handle is directly managed by them to "convey the daily life of the actor Gong Yoo to all the fans." (via Soompi)
Of course, Gong Yoo's supporters were over the moon after knowing this and he even trended on Twitter!
They were also quick to notice that his labelmate, Bae Suzy, is also following him on IG! ICYDK, they've worked together in the 2012 drama, Big.
So far, Gong Yoo has posted two photos today: One is a picture of a squid, which might just be an ~ode~ to his iconic cameo in Squid Game, LOL. In a variety show, he once said that if he ever creates an IG account, it would be full of food pics and he was true to his word!
Gong Yoo's second post is a photo of him wearing a jersey with his last name and the number 30.
The 42-year-old actor is celebrating his 20th debut anniversary this year and his IG account launch is probably the best gift for his fans! Oh wait, there's still another present for us—he is set to lead the Netflix original series The Silent Sea which will air on December 24. A very merry Christmas to you, Gong Yoo fans!
