Guess who woke up to something ~random~ yet exciting! It's rumored that Gong Yoo had lunch with Taylor Swift in New York City and the internet is freaking out.
It all started when celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi posted an Instagram Story about an email that was forwarded to them. The anonymous sender said that a friend, who works as a waiter in a NYC restaurant, saw Gong Yoo and Taylor Swift having lunch together last week.

Netizens were quick to notice this and rumor has it that they're working on a project together. Someone said on Twitter: "I absolutely had no idea that I needed these two beautiful people having lunch together until now, I swear. Hope this is true, who knows what's behind this meeting??"
And here's one tweet we can't get over: "Welcome to New York, Gong Yoo. It's been waiting for you." LOL! (ICYDK, it's a reference to Taylor's song, "Welcome To New York").

Nothing has been confirmed so far but fans are speculating that Gong Yoo *might* star in a Taylor Swift music video soon. Others said that it can be a K-drama-style MV, too. Omo!

If the rumor is true, the ~potential~ collab is Gong Yoo's first international music project! While we're here, we'd like to share that he has an upcoming movie called Wonderland. Taylor, on the other hand, has a single of the same title in her 1989 album. Maybe it's just a coincidence, 'no?
Aaaaand we'd also like to drop this photo from Gong Yoo's hit drama Goblin where Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) is seen wearing a ~*red scarf*~. ;)

Gong Yoo is a sought-after Korean actor who is known for his iconic K-dramas like Coffee Prince and Goblin. He's also recognized for his blockbuster movies such as Silenced, Train To Busan, and Kim Ji Young: Born 1982. If you've been waiting for his small-screen comeback, our OG oppa is set to lead the Netflix original series The Silent Sea which will premiere next month.
