REJOICE! Warner Bros. has announced it is expanding the Watford-based Harry Potter Studio Tour this spring. YAS.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the tour's opening, you can now follow in the footsteps of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, into the grounds of the Forbidden Forest for the very first time.
As any fan of J.K. Rowling's famous series will know, this out-of-bounds area was home to a variety of mythical creatures, many of which were looked after your friend and mine, Hagrid, who lived on the edge of the woodland.
Just like the tour's Great Hall and Diagon Alley, the new attraction is set to be pretty lifelike, too. Built by some of the crew members who worked on the Harry Potter filmset, it will include 19 huge trees to walk beneath and a weather system which can be controlled by visitors to the forest.
Hagrid's costumes will be on display and guests will also be able to meet full-size models of Buckbeak, a Hippogriff, and Aragog, the Acromantula. Remember how terrifying this spider attack was in The Chamber of Secrets?
Yeah, we might skip that bit, tbh.
The Forbidden Forest will open at the Warner Bros Studio Tour on Friday, March 31, and entrance will be included in the ticket price.
