February just got more romantic as Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero renewed their wedding vows on the same day that they celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary. Confession: We couldn't help but tear up a little bit upon seeing pics and videos of the couple's milestone tonight!

1. We had no words to describe Heart and Chiz's wedding venue but *majestic.*
Nine years ago, Heart and Chiz tied the knot in a Balesin wedding. It's no wonder that they chose to renew their vows in the same venue, Balesin Island Club, partnered with a strikingly majestic design for their wedding aisle!
The couple solemnly expressed their wedding vows for the second time around surrounded by a beautiful backdrop styled by Badang Rueda.
2. Heart looked like a *goddess* in her sublime couture gown!
Heart looked ethereal and simply radiant! As the doors opened for her to walk through the aisle, the bride was smiling ear-to-ear with happy tears becoming more evident in her eyes.
She was wearing a gorgeous embellished cape gown by Ellie Saab that only highlighted how much of an elegant queen she is everywhere she goes!

3. Heart's mother walked her down the aisle for the first time!
Time truly does heal all wounds. Cecile Ongpauco was present at her daughter's wedding, nine years after Heart and Chiz first tied the knot.
Back in 2015, Heart's parents were against her wedding to the politician, even airing their disapproval of him in public. Cecile along with Heart's dad, Reynaldo Ongpauco, did not attend their 2015 wedding. This time around, all is well. (Despite his absence from tonight's ceremony, Heart's dad has become close with Chiz, as seen in Heart's past Sorsogon vlogs.)
4. It was a wedding cake to remember!
To further celebrate the couple's milestone, they requested for—and received!—a memorable cake. A cake shop based in Angeles, Pampanga called Caking Giant Cakes and Pastrie flew all the way to Balesin just to serve Heart and Chiz's magnificent cake. It's such an eye-catcher!
5. Chiz's kids were all smiles looking at Heart walking down the aisle.
They may not post about it often on social media, but Chiz's children Quino and Chesi have a good relationship with Heart. The two teenagers were present at the wedding ceremony and even during Heart's 39th birthday celebration the night before.
They were with Chiz as he waited for Heart to reach the altar during the wedding vow renewal. The kids only had eyes full of joy for the beautiful Heart. Chesi even hugged Heart as soon as they met at the altar. It was such a lovely moment!
