If you've been waiting for a feud to break out between Heart Evangelista and other celebs spotted in international Fashion Weeks, you're out of luck. The style maven squashed any speculation of beef among her and other fashion personalities in an interview.
Heart talked about the importance of female friendships—especially in a cutthroat industry. ICYDK, Heart started her career in showbiz at age 13, then expanded her acting folio to include her stint in VJ-ing and, later on, being one of the country's most bankable fashion influencers. Her appearance in numerous Fashion Weeks abroad prompted her to be tagged as one of the industry's trailblazers—a blueprint for all the Pinoy celebs who strut in international runways and red carpets. That said, some fans couldn't help but pit her against other women pursuing the same path.

"Well, the honest truth, I feel like, you know, women can be tough on each other. Especially in our industry where, in a sense, we grew up to think that everything is a competition," Heart shared matter-of-factly.
"You're just as good as your number. But as you get older, you know, looks will fade. Your career won't be a career one day. It's your heart that will stay," she added.
She emphasized the importance of women being supportive of each other. "No one's perfect, and it's a test of time. Again, only time will tell, and hopefully, everybody can just help each other, not step on each other. Be there for each other, you know.
"All you have to do siguro for a woman to woman, is ask. When they see you're humble, with all means, go, I'll help you. 'Di ba, ganon naman yun, e."
Right now, Heart is at the point in her life where she's already calm and contented with her career, focusing now on health and wellness. "Honestly ako, wala na akong hinihingi, career, wala. I mean, I'm so, I'm so thankful that after 25, 26, I'm still doing what I'm doing, so kumbaga, bonus na ito.
"Good health for me and my loved ones— my dad, everyone. That's the only thing I ask for. Everything else is a bonus. Aanhin mong pera, kasikatan, kung hindi ka naman masaya sa totoong buhay. So, that's all I ask for. Just stay healthy, that's beauty itself. Kaya mong kitain lahat ng pera basta healthy ka, basta may buhay ka, you can do anything," she shared.
Pia Wurtzbach reacts to rumored feud with Heart Evangelista
Aside from Heart, one celeb who has always been forthcoming with her support for her other kababayans making it big internationally is Miss Universe 2015 titleholder Pia Wurtzbach, who faced comparisons with Heart after being spotted in Paris Fashion Week with the latter's former glam team. Settling the feud rumors once and for all, she cleared the air on Insta through an encouraging post. "Hey everyone! I've been seeing all these nasty comments, below-the-belt name-calling, and accusations aimed towards others. I think we all need to be reminded that this bickering, pitting women against each other, and pointing fingers isn't right.
"Please stop fighting. I want to ask everyone, my supporters especially, as I always did even years ago during my Binibini or Miss Universe days, please do not pull other people down, lest to defend me. That is not what I want. And that's not what I stand for."
She continued reminding everyone of the value of respect and appreciation for everyone's hard work. "Let's respect each other and the work being put in by everyone—and not ruin it just because people online can't get along. There is so much room in this world for everyone to shine," she declared.
