Heart Evangelista dispelled rumors that her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, was hospitalized, and she did it through an Instagram Live.
Days ago, unconfirmed reports circulated stating that the Filipino senator was brought to the hospital after suffering from a stroke. On April 5, 2024, rumors also speculated that Chiz had a heart attack and aneurysm.
However, Heart quickly debunked the rumors as she showed Chiz on camera, healthy and at home. During her IG Live, she first shared her painting session with her followers. The celebrity, who just returned from back-to-back fashion weeks and brand events, enjoyed her well-deserved me-time—and she savored it by painting another masterpiece.
After several minutes of answering questions from fans, she proceeded to end the live. But before doing so, she let her husband join the last few minutes of her live session. "I just wanted to say hi and I hope everyone's doing okay. Babe [Chiz] do you want to say goodbye?" she said.
She then focused the camera on Chiz, who was sitting still while getting a haircut from his personal barber, "Bye!" he expressed in the middle of some laughs because of Heart.

Chiz Escudero's rumored stroke
As PEP.ph reported, Chiz was said to have been "semi-paralyzed" after an alleged heart attack or stroke last April 4, 2024. There were also allegations that Heart was actually in Hong Kong when it happened, thus she presumably canceled all her other engagements to return home to Chiz.
The rumors also stemmed from a "blind item" announcing that a "male senator from Sorsogon" was admitted at a hospital in Metro Manila, according to PEP.ph.
A trusted source of PEP.ph earlier confirmed that the alleged senator was also "airlifted" from Sorsogon to St. Luke's Medical Center in BGC. This was to ensure faster travel time since it was an emergency.
Thankfully, the rumors are now debunked. Just this year, Heart and Chiz renewed their wedding vows last February 14, 2024.
