Heart Evangelista has been in the US since last week on what seems to be a work-related trip. In New York, she spent an afternoon with her "Vogue family," Editor of Vogue.com, Chioma Nnadi, and Vogue Experience Manager and writer, Ian Guilford Malone, along with her good friends Mark Bumgarner and Kat Cruz.
Over the weekend, Heart and co. jaunted to Los Angeles where she met up with several famous faces! First up is entrepreneur and fashion designer Kane Lim, the star of the Netflix reality show Bling Empire (aka a show about the *real-life* Crazy Rich Asians). After sharing a meal in a cozy restaurant, Heart and Kane were also seen meeting up with another Bling Empire cast member Kelly Mi Li at a Chanel boutique.
The next day, Heart reunited with her good friend and Crazy Rich Asians author Kevin Kwan over drinks. He even gave her a signed copy of his latest bestseller Sex And Vanity and wrote, "Let's meet in Capri!" to which Heart replied in her caption, "We shall!"
Lastly, Heart was spotted in Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd's Instagram Stories in what looks like behind-the-scenes snaps of a photoshoot! Heart also posted a cute video of her going on piggyback with Brandon and wrote, "You're crazy for pushing for this shot - but thank you for being so polite."
ICYDK, Heart and Brandon had a virtual meeting last May for an art project they'd be collaborating on. Like Heart, Brandon has been painting for most of his life. While their project is still under wraps, we can't wait to see what it's all about!
