The much-anticipated wedding of Lovi Poe and Monty Blencowe was a star-studded affair, filled with glamour, and the who's who of the entertainment industry. Yet, one notable absence that raised eyebrows was that of Heart Evangelista, one of Lovi Poe's closest friends.
Fans and onlookers were quick to wonder why Heart, known for her close friendship with Lovi, wasn't present at the wedding ceremony. In response to a fan's query, Heart Evangelista took to social media to share the ~valid~ reason behind her non-attendance at her BFF's major milestone.
According to a PEP report, Heart's brief but sincere response was, "My dad was in the hospital." This single sentence was enough to convey the gravity of the situation and why she chose to prioritize her family during this challenging time.
Heart and Lovi have shared a strong bond for years, having worked together in the movie Temptation Island in 2011, followed by their collaboration in the TV drama, Legacy.
Lovi was also part of the entourage when Heart tied the knot with Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero. In recent years, the two GMA Network stars have been seen traveling together, or catching up, as seen on their respective Instagram accounts. Once, Lovi playfully "hacked" Heart's IG account, proof of their playful and strong friendship.
