The other day, Heart Evangelista posted a throwback pic of her with Chiz Escudero. She captioned it, “My prince charming, @escuderochiz. Taken at the famous Serendipity 3 restaurant in NYC back in 2013.”
Instagram user @bing.armitage commented, “You [looked] so simple back then, no chunky rings and bangles. ‘Di mo aakalaing artista pala. Maybe that is one trait na nagustuhan sa ‘yo ni Chiz.”
Heart debunked the statement, confessing, “I wasn’t simple here, actually. I was just feeling sick this day.”
Still, another user said, “Pero hindi ka nagsusuot ng Hermès at Cartier before. Pero I’m happy for you, Heart! You’ve improved a lot. More fashionable and elegant now!”
The actress replied, “Not really. Had my Cartier since I was a teen. But as I got older I became more bold with my style. I also went through a bohemian look in my twenties. Evolution is amazing! That will be all in my book this September!”
Heart didn’t disagree with all the comments about her looks, though. One user wrote, “Parang ang nene mo pa dito, a,” to which Heart replied, “Yes!”
Heart’s been sharing old photos lately. Yesterday on her Instagram stories, she invited her followers to ask her anything for her “memory lane chika.” Every answer she gave came with a relevant throwback photo. It’s easy to see how she really evolved through the years.
Heart will be coming out with a book about her style. She posted a teaser on August 13, saying, “Fashion has always been a passion of mine, and I can’t wait to share my journey with you.” She also mentioned that Kevin Kwan contributed to the book!
