Jake Ejercito just gave us another reason to love him: his honesty and relatability!
In an interview with PUSH, the actor spoke about how he finds nothing embarrassing about shopping at local thrift shops, aka ukay-ukay.
"There's no shame in ukay," he shared. "Huwag ka mahiya na bumili o magsuot ng galing ukay."
Jake added that he looks for something particular in ukay-ukay shops, that's why he loves going shopping there.
"I'm really into vintage band shirts," he revealed. "'Yon ang hinahanap ko sa ukay."
In fact, he's been a big fan of ukay finds since his high school days! He even shared how he won a special award for his "unique" look at prom.
"Madaming memorable finds, e. May mga pantalon, may mga tops. Most especially, may mga gowns na pang-JS prom. 'Yung suot ko sa JS prom, ukay 'yon. Tapos nanalo pa akong Lady of the Night."
Jake isn't the only celeb who's been outspoken about their love for ukay. In fact, Heart Evangelista, Maris Racal, Maureen Wroblewitz, Laureen Uy, Mimiyuuuh, and Ivana Alawi are big fans.
