Janella Salvador is currently ~booked and busy~ at the moment. Aside from releasing her song "headtone," the 26-year-old is currently promoting Under Parallel Skies, her upcoming movie with famous Thai actor Win Metawin.
Janella and Win recently guested on It's Showtime, where it's the *first* time they actually promoted the movie as a pair, making fans very thrilled to see them finally together. Janella invited the audience to support the premiere of their movie happening on April 16, 2024, at SM Megamall, while Win couldn't help but gush about Pinoys' hospitality, enthusiasm, and energy.

Janella Salvador's Banter with Kim Chiu on It's Showtime Draws Mixed Reactions From Netizens
After Janella and Win promoted their movie, one of the show's hosts, Amy Perez, asked the Pinay actress about her upcoming concert. Janella then promoted Janella: Reimagined, her 10th-year anniversary concert happening this April 19, 2024, at the New Frontier Theater.
The other hosts then brought up that Janella recently released a new single, "headtone," with Kim Chiu requesting that Janella perform a little snippet or *sample* of the song.
"Sample! Sample naman, Janella, sa bago mong song," Kim requested.
"Medyo paos ako today," Janella replied as she held her throat. "Kayo na lang," she added, pointing to Kim and the other hosts.
Kim then addresses the audience, "Ah, pakinggan na lang namin [yung song]" while Darren Espanto interjects, "Sa susunod, mag-prod ka na lang dito sa Showtime."
Janella then promises the hosts and the audience that she will perform for them the next time she's there. "Next time, promise!" she noted.
Netizens React to Janella Salvador and Kim Chiu's "Awkward" Banter
The internet had *mixed* reactions to Janella and Kim's seemingly awkward banter. On one hand, some of them thought that Janella was "masungit" for not giving in to their requests for a sample of the song and even making the hosts "do it themselves."
On the flip side, netizens thought it was just a classic case of miscommunication, along with the issue of the show having too many hosts on stage just to greet a guest. Her fans also defended her, saying that Janella recently recovered from a sickness (hence her being paos) that's why she turned down the sample request.
A netizen also reminded everyone not to pit Janella and Kim against each other—especially just a few days after Women's Month ended.
