Janella Salvador is out there breaking barriers due to her astounding career accomplishments. One of the highlights of her work at the moment would be working with Win Metawin—and she revealed some memorable moments she had with the Thai actor.
In a sit-down interview with Cosmopolitan Philippines, Janella talked about what it was like working with Win. This is the first time that Janella is leading a film alongside a Thai actor. And Janella and Win's film is being distributed across the world as we speak.
Their movie Under Parallel Skies tells the love story and the life of Iris and Parin, who coincidentally meet in Hong Kong. Together they search for their characters' deepest desires as they navigate through love and a cross-cultural relationship—with Iris being a Filipina, and Parin being Thai.

For Janella, working with Win was such a delight. They learned a lot of things from each other. Whether it was Tagalog slang or Thai vocab, the two celebrities definitely bonded over language.
When we asked Janella about her memorable moments with Win, there seemed to be a lot, but she later on chose the perfect moment to share with us.
Janella told Cosmo that she and Win had to do some intimacy workshops. To break the ice, she said. This is because there was a lot of awkwardness between them, having met for the first time on set.
"I think the most memorable would be when we went to Thailand to do some workshops before the film. We did intimacy workshops, para pagdating ng filming, hindi na kami awkward. Para wala nang walls," she began telling Cosmo.
Admittedly, Janella is an introvert so it was the one thing that left her nervous about meeting Win. She added that her first impression of him was that he was a quiet guy! "I was kinda nervous kasi ang first impression ko sa kanya, parang mukha siyang quiet. The thing is I'm [an] introvert so baka hindi kami mag-usap."
So here comes another memorable moment for Janella. The actress told Cosmo that Win booked a private dinner for them to bond while they were in Thailand. Since she was anxious about meeting him, she couldn't hide how much she appreciated Win's gesture.
"He made an effort. He invited me and my handler to dinner. He specially booked it. It was this Japanese restaurant in Thailand. He even let us use his van to bring us back to the hotel. I think that was very nice of him since we were in a different country," Janella shared.

NGL, we think the dinner and the intimacy workshops worked. When the teasers and the trailers for Under Parallel Skies were released, all we could think about was that Janella and Win were the onscreen couple we never knew we needed.
