Filipino singer Jed Madela shared his frustration on Twitter after missing BTS' Permission To Dance On Stage - LA concert.
ICYMI, the record-breaking K-pop group is back with their first offline concert in two years. They have four soldout shows held in SoFi Stadium on November 27 and 28, and December 1 and 2. ARMY (their fandom's name) flew from different parts of the world to see RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook perform live in Los Angeles, United States.
Jed would've been one of the lucky fans who were able to see BTS in person and in fact, he already bought a ticket for the concert. However, it did not push through due to his work commitments. What's more disappointing for him is that the said work schedule was eventually canceled.
In a tweet, he expressed his disappointment and said: "Haaaayyy hanggang dito na lang muna ako… I really had plans to go to LA and watch BTS…I already had a ticket to the concert! Pero may work daw kaya 'di ako makaalis. Ending, 'di na naman pala tuloy mga sinasabing trabaho. Imagine niyo na lang sama ng loob ko ngayon." His fellow ARMY comforted him and replied: "Oh no, Sir Jed. That’s truly heartbreaking. Don’t worry, we will make sure to attend at least one of their tours next year."
Jed is a huge fan of BTS since last year and he has been *documenting* his ARMY experience on social media. Apart from his vlog about BTS' virtual concert, he also uploads videos of his merch collection on his YouTube channel. On why BTS is his favorite, Jed relayed: "More than their popularity, more than anything else, hindi lang 'yung tipong kasi sikat sila o pinag-uusapan (naibibigay nila ay) happy thoughts. At nakaka-inspire sila, 'yung kuwento ng buhay nila. You know from walang-wala, nakayanan nila through hard work and perseverance and believing in themselves. Kaya doon ako na-attach sa kanila, sa kuwento nila." (via ABS-CBN News)
