Jessy On How She And Luis Manzano Settle Arguments
Jessy features as a guest on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. In the episode, Jessy happily talks about married life.
Boy asked Jessy if she and husband Luis Manzano have fights. She replies, "Oo, Tito Boy. Impossibleng hindi. Hindi na kami normal nun kung hindi kami mag-aaway."
Jessy also reveals that she and Luis don't resort to loud arguments when they fight. "Nako, pabulong kami, Tito Boy, baka magising si bagets." "Bagets" refers to Jessy's and Luis' daughter Isabelle Rose, also known as Peanut.
Jessy doesn't hold back in emphasizing that disagreements are part of any relationship. "Isa lang ang masasabi ko din. Syempre, nag-aaway kami. But, you know, mas mabilis na kami magbati ngayon because of Peanut. Kasi dahil kilala na namin ang isa't isa. I think normal naman yun and it's actually healthy na nag-aaway kayo kasi you get to air out feelings, emotions, and talagang nagro-grow kayo together as a couple. Nakikita nyo kung ano yung dapata baguhin sa sarili nyo, or yung mga dapat pang-i-keep or i-let go."
Jessy On Why You Should Resolve Fights Immediately
Jessy shares how her and Luis' fighting styles shifted after getting married and having a baby. Before, she used to be the one to resolve a fight immediately.
Nowadays, Jessy says it's Luis who doesn't want to let their disagreements spill over to the next day. "I really appreciate that. Siya kasi before mas ipagpa-bukas na natin niyan."
She continued, "Talagang naniniwala ako na dapat pag nag-aaway kayong mag-asawa, or mag-boyfriend, or magka-relasyon, wag nyong ipagpabukas. Kasi mas maganda na natatapos nyo siya ngayon para kinabukasan magaan ang loob nyo pagka-gising sa umaga."
Jessy On Outgrowing Jealousy And Plans For Baby Number 2
Boy also asked Jessy who is the jealous type in the relationship. Jessy admitted that she used to get jealous, but now she's over it. "Dati selosa ako, Tito Boy, pero nawala na lang siya, siguro kasi tumanda na din ako."
